During the discussion on Sunday Conversations, Sophie Cunningham opened up about her WNBA future and plans if she doesn’t get a new contract. Caleb Pressley asked if she was getting paid, and Cunningham responded, “Oh, you know, just barely, but we’re still surviving.”
Cunningham, he said, is now a free agent. “You’re figuring it out,” he told her. She verified that. With a grin, Pressley continued, “If the WNBA screws you, you’ll find a Plan B.” Cunningham promptly corrected him, saying, “Not Plan B. Project B,” as Pressley responded with, “Oh, my God.”
When Pressley asked whether Saudi funds were being used in the second plan, Cunningham was quick to answer. “No, Saudi money is not involved,” she said. “I don’t think Saudi Arabia wants to pay women millions.”
He recommended that Cunningham could make money on OnlyFans.
“No, I think you do need the leagues,” she said back. “Because leagues give you the platform to have all these fans,” she went on.
“OnlyFans can be a platform in themselves,” she acknowledged. “Maybe Project B should support that platform.”
