Sophie Rain discusses Piper Rockelle’s claims of $2.9 million on her first day on OnlyFans. She speaks on Piper’s potential and also defends the 18-year-old against critics on social media.
In a January 1st post on the platform X, 18-year-old Rockelle split the profits of what appeared to be a little under 3 million dollars in subscription profits, tips, and messages on the stripper’s site. The message followed weeks of build-up on TikTok, which had almost 19 million followers.
“My first day,” Rockelle wrote. “Forever grateful.”
This sparked swift condemnation from critics, who wondered why she had joined the platform at age 18. On January 2nd, Rockelle posted a video on TikTok defending herself against her critics.
“You guys cannot convince me that I’m the gross one,” she said. “Tell me why every single one of my search bars is, ‘Piper Rockelle unblurred photos, Piper Rockelle link photos, Piper Rockelle ass pics.’ Ya’ll are so quick to hate it, yet so fast to search that s–t up. Who’s the real gross one? You.”
Rain shows her support for Rockelle taking over the platform.
“$2.9 million in 24 hours? That’s not a launch, that’s a takeover,” Rain told Where Is The Buzz. “Anyone pretending to be shocked hasn’t been paying attention.”
Rain calls out the consumers who are hating:
“They call it gross but search for it nonstop. If that isn’t projection, I don’t know what is,” she said. “The second a girl profits from her own image, the same people who consumed it for free get mad.”
Rain spoke about Piper’s success.
“I am going to have to start working harder to catch up to Piper,” she said. “She is taking over faster than I was.”
But more specifically, Rain made it clear what this trend means for influencers with their own business.
“This just showed every girl in her position that she doesn’t need middlemen,” she said. “She is the market.”
