Warriors superstar Steph Curry to help launch Division I golf program at Howard University. cbsloc
During a January visit to Howard U, NBA star Stephen Curry was approached by Otis Ferguson, who’d started a campus golf club. It so inspired Curry that he’s back in D.C. today to announce 7-figure donation to create a D1 program at Howard.
HU athletic director called it “one of the most generous gifts” in the school’s history.
Having the support of a sports giant like @StephenCurry30 as we develop the 1st-ever NCAA Division 1 Men’s & Women’s Golf Program at Howard is incredible. We are excited for the opportunity this brings our students.
