27-year-old Christian Obumseli was stabbed to death by his 25-year-old girlfriend Courtney Taylor Clenney. This story put social media into a frenzy because Courtney has not been charged for his death. After stabbing Christian she was taken into police custody for questioning but was put into a psychiatric hold because she threatened to kill herself. The Miami Police Department is currently investigating if Courtney was acting in self defense.
While the investigation is ongoing social media users have been doing their own version of background checks on Christian and Courtney. Courtney was arrested for drunk driving in 2020, according to Austin Intoxicated. Christian had his old tweets of him degrading black women dig up by Tariq Nasheed.
