Swift used the moment she won the Best Pop Vocal Album award for her 10th studio album, “Midnights,” to announce her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which will be released on April 19th. The Grammy-winning performer thanked her followers and revealed a secret she had guarded for two years.

“I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out April 19,” she announced onstage. “It’s called The Tortured Poets Department. I’m gonna go post the cover backstage.”

True to her word, Swift quickly took to Instagram to reveal the album cover, with the statement, “All’s fair in love and poetry… New album THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT.
