TEMs Releases Highly Anticipated Debut Album “Born In The Wild”

GRAMMY® Award-winning and Oscar-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer TEMS has finally unveiled her debut studio album, “Born In The Wild.” This 18-track masterpiece, eagerly awaited by fans worldwide, features collaborations with renowned artists J. Cole and Asake, promising an eclectic mix of sounds and themes.

In a statement about her debut album, TEMS shared, “’Born In The Wild’ is a story of transformation, from a cocoon to a butterfly. It speaks on surviving mental wilderness and coming to a place where one can thrive. It’s about finally accepting oneself and embodying the woman I was born to be. It shows the different dimensions of who I am, from a cub to a lioness.”

TEMs is also set to embark on her first-ever headlining world tour, the “Born In The Wild World Tour.” The tour kicks off on Wednesday, June 12th, in London at Eventim Apollo and will cover various cities across Europe, North America, Africa, and Australia, concluding on November 15th at The Hordern Pavilion in Sydney.

Earlier this week, TEMS captivated audiences with a mesmerizing Tiny Desk performance, debuting two new tracks from the album, “Unfortunate” and “Forever.” She also made a notable appearance on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where she performed a beautiful medley of her latest single “Love Me JeJe” and the live debut of “Born In The Wild.”

The album’s lead single, “Love Me JeJe,” released last month, has already garnered over 5.8 million streams worldwide. The self-directed music video for the track, which pays homage to her childhood in Lagos, Nigeria, features an interpolation of Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 classic of the same name and captures the vibrant, feel-good energy of her home city.
