The Handmaid’s Tale: INTERVIEWS| AMANDA BRUGEL, MAX MINGHELLA , MADELINE BREWER, ANN DOWD, and SAM JAEGAR,

We had the opportunity to interview the cast of the hit Hulu show “The Handmaids Tale”  for the return of season 4.  The return of season 4 is met with excitement from fans as season 4 was on hold for two years due to the pandemic.

I chatted with stars Amanda Brugel (Rita)  , Max Minghella (Nick) , Ann Dowd (Aunt Lydia)  , Sam Jaegar (Mark) ,  Madeline Brewer(Janine) on their new upcoming season and the theme was the same with each actor : they were super excited to get back to work and filming their new season. During the interviews the cast stated that they originally started filming the new season the beginning of 2020 and only had the opportunity to film for a few weeks before getting the notice the show had to be on hold. Though they were excited to get back to work , they also enjoyed the long break.

Each cast member I spoke to noted that all of their characters have been through so much and such a transition during the four seasons, you will definitely see a change amongst some of them. Madeline Brewer who plays the very sweet and optimistic Janine talked about Janine finally finding her voice and standing up for herself where in the past Janine fell victim to abuse and not having the chance to defend herself.

It was a pleasure speaking to each of the cast members about their upcoming roles for season 4 and now season 5! Congratulations to the cast for their two brand new seasons!
