Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the official trailer for A Working Man, an action-packed thriller directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Ayer and starring the iconic Jason Statham.
The story follows Levon Cade, played by Statham, a former black ops operative who has traded in his dangerous past to work construction. But his tranquil existence is disrupted when his boss’s teenage daughter, who’s like family to him, gets abducted by human traffickers. Determined to get her home, Cade embarks upon an unrelenting search and finds an immense web of corruption and crime, far more sinister than he could ever have imagined.
The film features an ensemble cast that includes David Harbour, Michael Peña, Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, and Maximilian Osinski. The film also includes Noemi Gonzalez, Arianna Rivas, Emmett J. Scanlan, and Eve Mauro in supporting roles. Co-written by none other than Sylvester Stallone himself and director David Ayer, the film is adapted from Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel, Levon’s Trade.
Filming took place all over the UK, from its principal photography starting in London from April 2024 until the shoots wrapped on May 31, 2024, at Winnersh Film Studios, Berkshire. The production, starring Crowe and Farrell, will be brought forth jointly between Black Bear and Cedar Park. Punch Palace together with Balboa Productions will produce this.
The action thriller gets an R for its strong violence, pervasive language, and its content with drugs. About this in the behind-the-scenes section are several producers that put together a wonderful cast with Chris Long, Jason Statham, John Friedberg, David Ayer, Sylvester Stallone, Bill Block, and Kevin King Templeton. The producers Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, Mike Shanks, Jill Silfen, Volodymyr Artemenko, Yevgen Stupka, Alexis Garcia, Rachael Cole, and Thomas Zadra perform executive production.
The newly released trailer gives an adrenaline-charged glimpse into the film’s gripping storyline, highlighting Statham as Cade while fighting his way through a perilous underworld, with intense action and depth in emotions. Fans of high-stakes action and gripping storytelling will no doubt be on the edge of their seats.
