The Witcher Season 3 Tops Netflix’s English Tv List This Week

Following the release of Volume 2, The Witcher Season 3 hunted its way to the top of the English TV List, with 7.8M views for the week. Season 3 has received 47.7 million views since its premiere on June 29. Season 3 of Sweet Magnolias has surpassed 5.3 million views, giving the women of the show yet another reason to raise their margarita glasses. Season 5 of Too Hot to Handle ranked third (3.2 million views), Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer ranked fourth (3 million views), and Survival of the Thinnest ranked fifth (2.2 million views). Quarterback is back for a third time at #7, followed by Fatal Seduction at #8 and Mark Norman: Soup to Nuts at #9.

Paradise, a German dystopian sci-fi thriller, debuted at the top of the Non-English Films List with 8.1 million views, edging out previous chart-topper Bird Box Barcelona, which came in at #2 with 6 million views. Dream, a Korean sports comedy, came in third place with 4.8 million views. The (Almost) Legends (2.9M views) and The Lady of Silence: The Mataviejitas Murders (2.1M views) from Mexico took the fourth and fifth spots, respectively. The Turkish romantic comedy Love Tactics 2 ranked sixth with 1.8 million views, while the French drama Gold Brick ranked tenth with 1.1 million views.

With 60.9 million views to date, the French action-thriller AKA has risen to fourth place on the list of the Most Popular Non-English Films.

On the English Films List, Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie debuted at #2 with 12.2 million views, while the critically acclaimed, mind-bending sci-fi comedy They Cloned Tyrone maintained its position at #3 with 11.1 million views. Other newcomers included Ellie Kemper’s rom-com Happiness for Beginners (9.3 million views), the true crime documentary Missing: The Lucie Blackman Case (7.6 million views), and the space documentary Unknown: Cosmic Time Machine (5.2 million views), which took the #4, #5, and #7 spots, respectively. Meanwhile, returning favorites The Out-Laws (5.5 million views), The Deepest Breath (3.5 million views), and Extraction 2 (2.9 million views) ranked sixth, ninth, and tenth, respectively.

With 6.4 million views, fans propelled the Season 4 premiere of the Brazilian YA drama Sintonia to the top of the Non-English TV List. Season 2 of Japanese series Baki Hanma (6 million views), Spanish romantic comedy A Perfect Story (3.2 million views), Season 2 of Korean drama D.P. (2.8 million views), and suspenseful Turkish drama The Tailor (2.5 million views) were also new additions to the list. The Korean romantic comedy King the Land (4 million views), Japanese anime My Happy Marriage (2.7 million views), and Japanese drama Burn the House Down (2 million views) all made a comeback.
