A heated confrontation over a car sale took a destructive turn on Monday when a man drove his recently purchased vehicle through the front doors of the very dealership where he had bought it just hours earlier.
The incident occurred at a Mazda dealership in Sandy, Utah, after the man attempted to return the car and was told it had been sold “as-is.”
According to witnesses, the man became increasingly agitated when employees refused his request for a refund. He allegedly warned staff that if they didn’t accept the return, he would drive the car through the dealership’s front entrance.
Despite the warning, employees stood firm, reiterating the car was sold as-is and not eligible for a return. True to his word, the man got behind the wheel of his new car and plowed through the glass-front entrance, leaving shattered glass and mangled metal in his wake.

The crash caused significant damage to the dealership’s showroom but miraculously did not result in any injuries. Employees and customers present at the time managed to avoid harm.
Local police arrived quickly on the scene and arrested the driver. He has been identified but remains unnamed in initial reports. He now faces charges of felony criminal mischief and reckless endangerment.
