In a heartfelt Instagram Live session on January 10, 2025, Allison Holker’s 16-year-old daughter, Weslie Renae, addressed the online criticism directed at her mother following the release of Holker’s memoir, “This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light.” The memoir details aspects of the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s life, including alleged struggles with drug addiction and childhood trauma.

Weslie expressed her frustration over the persistent negative comments targeting her family, stating, “My stepdad’s been gone for two years, and I’m still getting hate comments… I’m sick of seeing my mom get hate for losing the person she loves.”

She elaborated on the deep bond she shared with Boss, who became her stepfather when he married Holker in 2013. “He never made me feel like anything besides his daughter,” Weslie remarked, emphasizing the irreplaceable nature of their relationship.

Addressing the controversy surrounding the nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) at Boss’s funeral, Weslie clarified that they were implemented to protect the family’s privacy during the open casket viewing. “God forbid somebody that went to that took a photo of Stephen and put it on the internet… That’s the type of things that NDAs are for,” she explained. She also noted that some attendees were not required to sign the NDAs, yet her mother treated everyone with kindness and understanding.

Weslie defended her mother against accusations of seeking fame or financial gain, stating, “My mom gets called a murderer. They say that she’s money hungry. They say that she needs more fame. That’s not how my mom is.” She urged the public to be more considerate, highlighting the impact of such negativity on her younger siblings, Maddox and Zaia.

Holker has faced criticism from some of Boss’s family members and friends, who have accused her of tarnishing his legacy with the revelations in her memoir. In response, Holker stated that her intention in writing the book was to share her own story and help others, believing that Boss would want his story told.

Weslie concluded her message by reaffirming her love for Boss and her admiration for her mother, urging others to understand their ongoing healing journey. “My relationship with Stephen is irreplaceable. And that’s just how I see it,” she said.
