He delivered a standout performance as Eugene Sledge in HBO’s critically acclaimed miniseries The Pacific, a role that showcased his dramatic depth. He also portrayed Dustin Moskovitz, co-founder of Facebook, in David Fincher’s Oscar-winning The Social Network.
His most high-profile role in recent years came in 2018 when he played Queen bassist John Deacon in Bohemian Rhapsody, further cementing his versatility as an actor. Beyond acting, Mazzello explored writing and directing, helming the 2016 indie film Undrafted, based on his own experiences in baseball.
