WHIPPED CREAM is a Canadian music producer and singer who is starting a new era.

WHIPPED CREAM (real name Caroline Cecil) had just released her vibe-setting single “it’s time to go home.” Still, she is now releasing a new track called “stranger” that was released yesterday, Wednesday, and announces the debut album that will be released on the 30th of April through Monstercat: HOME WAS ALWAYS ME.

WHIPPED CREAM’s new single captures the speed and electricity of an instant connection with someone you cannot define.

“Everyone knows the feeling: locking eyes with a stranger at a club, a festival, anywhere and feeling something you can’t explain. ‘stranger’ is an anthem for that electricity. It works in the club, in the car, or in your headphones by yourself at night. It’s instant connection in three minutes,” WHIPPED CREAM said in a statement.

WHIPPED CREAM is well-known for fusing strong, expressive vocals with layers of house and techno. She is also well-known as a storyteller through the cinematic music she produced on her previous EPs: Careline (2025) and Is This Real? (2024), Someone You Can Count On (2023), and Who Is Whipped Cream? (2020).

WHIPPED CREAM’s debut album will be an epic, cinematic dance album with an emphasis on emotions and human themes. Although it might look like a strong, powerful album on the surface, it will be an exploration of authenticity.

At the center of the album is a re-creation of the Biblical character of Eve. Traditionally, she is viewed as a sinner, but in the context of the album, she is a symbol of truth and a person brave enough to be herself. In this context, WHIPPED CREAM explores the concepts of self-identity, projection, and self-creation.

According to WHIPPED CREAM, the album was made for those who have felt misunderstood during their process of growth and evolution. It is about believing in oneself and knowing that one’s true self is not lost but buried beneath others’ expectations.

“People say ‘be yourself,’ but as soon as you do, they project onto you. This album is about choosing yourself anyway,” WHIPPED CREAM said. She also said the album is “a modern retelling of an old idea that the stories don’t define people told about them, but by the truth they choose to live.”

With the release of “stranger” and the growing buzz building towards the album’s release on the 30th of April, WHIPPED CREAM’s album “HOME WAS ALWAYS ME” is a self-discovery journey and a call to action for those looking for a soundtrack to their journey of connection, self-identity, and the strength to own their own story.
