A sneak peek at Crystal Lake, the prequel series to Friday the 13th, was released by Peacock.

Crystal Lake is brought to life by A24 and penned by Brad Caleb Kane, who has previously done projects such as It: Welcome to Derry, Tokyo Vice, and Warrior.

All eight episodes of Crystal Lake will debut Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, exclusively on Peacock.

Set before Jason’s mother, Pamela’s death, Crystal Lake centers on Pam Voorhees, a single mother who has been mourning her sick son Jason’s drowning in the town lake for almost a year now. Two strangers enter town and begin investigating her past, setting off an eerie series of events that make the townspeople question Pam Voorhees’ true self.

Linda Cardellini plays Pam Voorhees. Other cast members of the show include William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and Gwendolyn Sundstrom. The recurring cast members are Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch, and Phoenix Parnevik.

In addition to Kane, the executive producers are Marc Toberoff, Victor Miller, Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian, Stuart Manashil, Tyson Bidner, Michael Lennox, and Roy Lee.

Episodes 101–103 are directed by Lennox, 104–106 by Celine Held and Logan George, and 107–108 by Quyen Tran.

It’s an eight-episode series, each one hour long.

I’ve made $84,000 so far this month working online and I’m a full time student. I’m using an online business opportunity I heard about and I’ve made such great money. It’s really user friendly and I’m just so happy that I found out about it. The potential with this is endless.
