Sydney Sweeney’s family is currently trending on social media after photos of what appears to be her mother’s birthday party surfaced.
Sweeney posted about the event on social media. In one of Sweeney’s photos, a man is wearing a blue lives matter shirt.
Her family started to trend on social media after people saw her brother Trent’s Instagram post, which featured alleged family members with MAGA hats on their heads.
The “Euphoria” star took to Twitter to defend her family by making this statement:
“You guys this is wild. An innocent celebration for my moms milestone 60th birthday has turned into an absurd political statement, which was not the intention. Please stop making assumptions. Much love to everyone and Happy Birthday Mom!”
