Why Is Aisling Murphy Trending?

A 23-year-old teacher was found dead in broad daylight after being fatally attacked and killed while going for a run along a popular canal route.

The victim has been identified as Ashling Murphy who worked as a school teacher. She was also involved in the arts and had performed in public for many years.

Police initially arrested a man in his 40s but ultimately ended up releasing him because he didn’t fit the description and he’s no longer a suspect.

They are currently looking for more information on a Falcon Storm mountain bike with straight handlebars and distinctive yellow/green front forks.

An autopsy has been completed and the results would not be released for operational reasons.
