A video of a woman in scrubs getting into an altercation with some Muslim shoppers in a Texas H-E-B has been seen millions of times across the internet since it came out on the weekend.
In the video, filmed inside the H-E-B at 3875 W. Davis St., the woman in scrubs tells the shoppers to leave because they are in a Christian country. “You need to leave. You’re not welcome here,” she says. “This is not a Muslim country. This is a Christian country.”
The woman in scrubs also insults Muslims and asks one of the shoppers why she works in the healthcare sector. She calls her an “Islam girl” and tells her to “go back to your Islamic country”. The Muslim shoppers try to defend themselves and ask the lady to stop bothering them. “We have citizenship here,” one of them says.
The video, shared by Suzie Rizzio, went viral, sparking polarized reactions. People described the nurse as a racist Islamophobe, calling for her dismissal from work in a nearby hospital, while others said she was a patriot.
Do you think this woman in scrubs should be working in the healthcare sector?
