‪Kanye West Donates $10 Million To Roden Crater Project‬

Kanye West has donated $10 million to the ongoing construction of a major land art project at Roden Crater, 38 miles north of Flagstaff. Artist James Turrell acquired the 3 mile-wide former volcano back in 1977 in order to transform it’s inner cone into an observatory for experiencing solar and celestial phenomena. The site is managed by Arizona State University, which is working with artist to raise $200 million dollars with the goal to have the project completed in the next five years. A visitor center, restaurant, and rentals cabins are planned to be on the site as well. Kanye donated 10 million because he was impressed by the site when he toured it back in December.
