18-Year-Old Faces Murder Charge for Fatal Shooting of Man at Las Vegas House Party Amid Girlfriend Flirting Incident

On November 5th, a tragic incident occurred at a house party in Las Vegas, leaving the community in shock. Mauricio Quinteros, 18, is now in custody after fatally shooting another man, Maykool Regino-Perez.

According to True Crime, police responded to a call at a residence and found Maykool Regino-Perez in the backyard with gunshot wounds. He was at the house party when the fatal altercation occurred. Mauricio Quinteros allegedly pulled out a gun during a heated argument and fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene, according to eyewitnesses.

According to a witness who spoke with a local news outlet, Mauricio confronted the victim about an alleged incident involving his girlfriend. This altercation allegedly escalated into physical violence, with Mauricio allegedly punching Maykool before resorting to the use of a firearm.

The witness went on to describe the terrifying account of the shooting, claiming that after Maykool collapsed, Mauricio continued to shoot him multiple times. According to the witness, the suspect fired five to seven rounds in total, adding a chilling dimension to an already tragic situation.

Following the shooting, authorities moved quickly to apprehend Mauricio Quinteros, leading to his arrest. He was taken to the Clark County Detention Center after his arrest and charged with murder in connection with the shooting at the house party.
