A missing woman from Kentucky has been found dead in Grayson Lake, as reported by Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.
The body of 19-year-old Marly Kinney from Ashland was discovered at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday at Grayson Lake. Kinney had gone missing since Wednesday afternoon.
The game wardens organized a massive rescue operation following a report regarding the disappearance of a female who had disappeared along with a group of her friends after returning from a pontoon boat ride in Grayson Lake Marina.
Several agencies and individuals assisted in the search operation using boats, divers from the Ashland Fire Department, sonar, helicopters of the Kentucky State Police, drones, all-terrain vehicles, and specially trained dogs.
The cause of death of Kinney remains unclear as the investigation is ongoing.
