21 Savage fans are in for a treat as the rapper announced the release of his highly anticipated third solo album, “American Dream,” scheduled to drop on Friday, January 12th. This album comes as a significant milestone for Savage, marking his return to solo studio work since the success of 2018’s “i am > i was.”

The excitement doesn’t stop there, as “American Dream” will also serve as the soundtrack for 21 Savage’s debut film, “American Dream: The 21 Savage Story.” Directed by a powerhouse team including Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Jamal Olori, and Fam Udeorji, the film delves into three generations of 21 Savage, portrayed by Glover and McLaughlin, navigating a personal crisis. The star-studded preview features not only Savage but also an ensemble cast including Donald Glover, Caleb McLaughlin, Natasha Lyonne, Jabari Banks, Victoria Pedretti, Young Mazino, Chad Lindberg, Gail Bean, and the charismatic Atlanta comedian and entertainer, Druski.

The success of “i am > i was” earned Savage his first solo career #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, a GRAMMY nomination for ‘Best Rap Album,’ and a GRAMMY win for ‘Best Rap Song’ with “a lot,” the anticipation for “American Dream” is undoubtedly high. Brace yourselves, Savage Season is upon us, promising fans a musical and cinematic journey like never before.
