Ahmed Muhammad Becomes the First Black Male Valedictorian at Oakland High School

18-year old Ahmed Muhammad becomes the first black male valedictorian at Oakland Technical High School, with a 4.73 GPA, according to Black Enterprise. He is on track to receive a 5.0 GPA for his senior year.

Muhammad received acceptance letters from 11 universities, including Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford.

The young valedictorian played point guard for the Bulldog varsity basketball team and started his own non-profit providing kids with science experiments in a box.
