Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Creates A Twitch Channel To Encourage People To Vote

New York state representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) was rumored to be gamer on her free time but yesterday she walked the walk on those rumors. AOC has started a twitch channel.

AOC is getting a lot of attention from the gaming community. She hopped on Twitch to get her feet wet in MOBA to Among Us, some of the most popular games on the platform that’s based loosely on games like Werewolf or Town of Salem that received a lot of success through content creators.

How did this all start?

AOC tweeted out yesterday that she would be hopping into the popular game to try and motivate people to vote and asked her followers to suggest people and streamers for her to play with.

The Congresswoman tweeted her Twitch channel link not long after her initial tweet. The account already has over 180,000 followers even without streaming anything on her first day.

This is a pretty genius idea by AOC to encourage people to go out to vote. She’s hitting different huge markets like the gaming industry. People will take note of that and her popularity will grow even more. She’s becomes a more relatable politician with this move she made yesterday.
