Singer D4vd will now be represented by a public defender since the three private lawyers who were handling his murder case dropped out.
The singer is facing murder charges for allegedly killing Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 14-year-old girl whose body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla that belonged to him in September 2025. According to the prosecution, D4vd and Celeste had a prior acquaintance and a relationship.
He pleaded not guilty.
The former lawyers did not disclose why they quit; however, they confirmed that D4vd can be appointed a lawyer.
He will return to court on October 19th.
