Amy Schumer is the latest celebrity to chime in on Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars on Sunday night. Schumer took to Instagram talking about the trauma she experienced while promoting her new show on Hulu.
“I think we can all agree that the best way to unpack what happened is to stream my series [Life & Beth] and see me on tour this fall. But for real. Still triggered and traumatized. I love my friend [Chris Rock] and believe he handled it like a pro. Stayed up there and gave an Oscar to his friend [Quest Love] and the whole thing was so disturbing. So much pain in [Will Smith] anyway I’m still in shock and stunned and sad. Im proud of myself and my cohosts. But yeah. Waiting for this sickening feeling to go away from what we all witnessed,” Schumer said in her Instagram caption.

Girl, you could have just said you wanted everyone to check out your new show without mentioning Will Smith and Chris Rock.
Schumer might be trying to take heat off herself after she has been accused of stealing jokes from Twitter users. She also had a cringe moment when she implied Kirsten Dunst (who played MJ in Spider-Man) as a seat filler at the Oscars on Sunday.
More awkward moments at the Oscars: Amy Schumer, with one of the most unfunny jokes of all time, moved Kirsten Dunst out of her seat, calling her a "seat filler," prompting husband Jesse Plemons to say "you know that was my wife?" pic.twitter.com/GrTKLH8dfa
