Global superstar Anitta was honored tonight at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), taking home the award for “Best Latin Video” for her hit song Mil Veces. This marks the third year in a row that Anitta has claimed victory in this highly competitive category.

During her acceptance speech, the Brazilian sensation dedicated the award to her home country and expressed heartfelt gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support.

“What an incredible year for Latin culture. I have to acknowledge Karol G, who has had an amazing year and tour that the whole world has been watching. Congratulations to all the other nominees as well, and most importantly to my country, which always supports me,” Anitta shared. “There’s a reason I’m here every year, and that’s because I know Brazil always has my back. Being the only representative from my country year after year is something very special to me. Thank you for everything,” she added.

Anitta also surprised fans with the debut of her new song Paradise alongside Fat Joe and DJ Khaled. She performed Alegría with Tiago PZK before closing her set with the smash hit Savage Funk, capping off a memorable night.

Anitta’s continued success at the VMAs solidifies her as one of the most prominent Latin artists on the global stage.
