Annie Knight Says She’s an Atheist After Catholic Upbringing: “I No Longer Believe in God”

Annie Knight does not intend to impress the internet.

She runs a seven-figure business with over 20 employees and is one of the most vocal voices within the creator industry. In every scenario, be it resolving relationship FAQs, debunking adult content myths, or breaking down what online success actually entails, Knight always speaks with clarity and confidence about what she knows.

In an exclusive interview with Where Is The Buzz, the content creator addresses topics such as monogamy, religion, beef among content creators, misconceptions about money, and why she refuses to slow down or change her opinions.

This interview is slightly edited for clarity and censored for foul language.

“Monogamy Is Non-Negotiable”

However, Knight has been very open about her own boundaries and those she wants to maintain with her fiancé, Henry Brayshaw, even when they come under fire online by trolls.

“I think it for sure protects our relationship,” Knight continued. “Only Henry and I know what works for us. Monogamy is definitely non-negotiable for me.”

She keeps her workplace and her relationships distinct.

“If Henry was also a s*x worker, I’d be totally fine with him sleeping with others for work,” she said. “But he isn’t. So if he slept with another woman, that would be cheating.”

Opening their relationship isn’t an option.

“I think opening things up would cause gray areas and issues,” Knight said. “It’s great that it works for some people, but for us, it’s not something I see happening in our future.”

Talking specifically about couples known for openness within the industry, Knight is blunt.

“I understand that it works for some people,” she said. “But it’s not something I could ever see myself doing.”

Faith, Freedom, and OF

When former creator Nala Ray announced she had quit OF and converted to Christianity, it sparked controversy. Knight, who was raised in the Catholic tradition, has a complex perspective.

“I grew up Catholic,” Knight continued. “I was baptized, had my communion and confirmation, and went to an all-girls Catholic school. Religion was a huge part of my upbringing.”

Currently, she proclaims to be an atheist.

“I have my own beliefs,” she continued. “I believe everything happens for a reason, and I believe in the power of the universe, but I no longer believe in God.”

She believes that there is a way to combine faith and sex work.

“Absolutely, they can coexist,” Knight said. “Faith is such a personal thing. You can follow a religion and still have your own beliefs and make it work for you.”

If it is a spiritual or personal thing, then she wouldn’t.

“I would never walk away from OF,” she said. “I love it. It’s one of the best things that has ever happened to me.”

Setting the Record Straight on Sophie Rain

There have been some online reports of a feud between Knight and writer Sophie Rain for months now. According to Knight, it all began with a statement that she found problematic.

“It started when I saw a reel of her saying you don’t have to film p**n to be successful on OF, that you can ‘keep your morals’ and still make money,” Knight said.

Knight found that offensive.

“That insinuates that if you do p**n, you don’t have morals, which is not true,” she said. “My morals are about being kind, standing up for others, speaking out against wrongdoing, being loyal, and protecting the people you love.”

In his own account of events, Knight was quick to reveal that this online dialogue.

“I think Sophie blew it out of proportion,” she said. “She got upset and started name-calling instead of addressing the concerns I raised.”

What concerned Knight most was its effect on young women.

“It’s damaging to lie about earnings and make OF seem like an easy job with zero repercussions,” she stated.

However, she also disputed Rain’s assertion about her content.

“It angers me to see her say she doesn’t film explicit content when she actually does,” Knight complained. “It doesn’t take much online research to find her explicit content online.”

Dream Collaborations and Cultural Mayhem

If she were to choose her colleagues in entertainment and politics, Knight’s choices are certainly daring and fun.

“Honestly, I do not know much about current U.S. politics, but for celebrities, I would choose Seth Rogen because he seems like a fun time, Margot Robbie because she’s hot, Matthew McConaughey because he’s my dream guy, Sabrina Carpenter because she seems like she’d be good in bed, and Taylor Swift because I just love her,” she said.

As hypothetical, however, Knight feels that the crossovers involving her would encourage people to rethink their notions about s*x, power, and morality.

The Truth About OF Money

Knight doesn’t hold back when she talks about money and the labor that goes into earning it.

“My monthly earnings fluctuate, like every OF model,” she replied. “I make anywhere from USD $150,000 to USD $350,000 per month.”

Expenses are just as large.

“My monthly business expenses range from USD $80,000 to USD $120,000,” she continued. “I employ over 20 people. There are so many moving parts.”

She operates her business like a corporation; this is surprising to many in this industry.

“I recently hired a new assistant who’s in the industry herself, and she couldn’t believe how professional and business-like my setup was,” Knight said.

She is preparing to teach other people.

“I really want to start mentoring creators on how to make the most of their earnings, how to delegate, and how to run OF as a business,” she said.

Creating content is not the full job.

“Shooting content is probably only 5 percent of what I do,” Knight said. “People have no idea.”

No Regrets, No Retreat

Annie Knight is definitely not trying to go unnoticed. She is growing, spreading, nurturing, and shouting out her truth.

If the internet has a problem with that, she’s not losing any sleep over it.
“I love what I do,” she said. “And I’m just getting started.”
