A Louisiana couple, who seemingly appeared to be married, is receiving criticism following the circulation of a video on social media depicting their harassment and assault of a black veteran at the Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City.
A veteran named Devon Leslie Jr. decided to share his experience on Facebook, where he posted a video recounting his time attempting to play the slot machines at the casino.
A woman named Ashley Dison can be seen in the widely circulated video engaging in unwarranted harassment and physical aggression toward him.
Initially, William Dison attempted to calm Ashley down; however, as the video progressed, he succumbed to his prejudiced thoughts and directed a racially offensive term towards Devon.
“Wasn’t sure if I was going to post this, but now that I’ve had time to give it some thought I want it known about these two people! This woman went off on me hit me in the face and kicked me in the back, because I sat to close to her and her boyfriend so this is how I was treated. If you have any idea who these people are I would like to know they both were arrested Thursday night August 3th 2023 her for assault, and him for being to intoxicated! Worse feeling in the world, I did absolutely nothing wrong nor did I defend myself against them, and I honestly feel some type of way because I didn’t! Thanks to the Bossier City Police and the casino for standing up for me!”

A Twitter user named Tizzy Ent posted a video on the platform in an attempt to discover the identity of the couple, which was eventually revealed shortly after he posted it on the social media app.
Many people on social media confirmed that the couple in the video was Ashley and William Dison.

Devon Leslie Jr. confirmed on Facebook that the woman in the video’s name is Ashley Dison.
“Ashley Bieber Dison is the name of the female that assaulted me, she slapped me and kicked me in the back as I sat down and did nothing,” Leslie Jr. stated on Facebook. “I do not know who the guy is.”
Devon Leslie Jr. encourages people on social media to inform the couple’s employers about the incident that occurred earlier this month.
“I hope that anyone that has any idea who they are or where they work at would be amazing to let their employers know who they have working for them,” Leslie Jr. wrote on Facebook. “Please help me get their mug shots they both were arrested on Aug 3rd, 2023 by the Bossier City La police department!”
Ashley and William Dison’s employers have yet to comment on the viral video.

The friends who now wish Devon Leslie well would like to meet him somewhere and drink beers with him or bring him a ten layer cake– that’s what I’d like anyway– because that was a Nightmare. But the viewers of this video are all spread around the country. I live in California and I can’t but maybe it can be done in Louisiana. My point is only that I hope you’ve gotten over this, Devon Leslie, and that they’ll feel sorrow till they die. And so will their similar friends. Let them go on a great big pontoon boat and relive the days when they could just indulge themselves and be the biggest assholes ever, and nobody thought anything of it but that they were just normal boys and girls! Absolutely awful. If she treats a stranger like that imagine how she treats all black people. She’s a disgrace and the husband is even worse because he doesn’t appear to be too drunk and should have moved her away and then apologized profusely to the man. Truly shameful and embarrassing.

I implore that your Human Resources Department and EMLOYEE RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE remind your employees of your business’ core values and commitments to the general public which should be to treat fellow citizens and especially veterans with RESPECT and DIGNITY. If you have not established and/or reminded your employees of suggested business core values and ethics, I offer you the following examples which are regularly used by successful and respected businesses: excellence, kindness, Charity, Respect, Generosity, Gratitude, Gracefulness, Peacefulness, Accountability and Harmony. These people are puckin around and finding out. The country if they are paying attention what black people go thru on a daily. The boat dock incident, 6 police officers torture two black men for 2 hours 1823 style, these two idiots, and countless other issues daily. Yet we still love a country that was established when we werent a full person.
My thoughts on Ashley and William is I hope that while they are sitting in Jail that they get their asses beat and treated the same way that they treated that innocent man who just wanted to play a game and was minding his own business! People who do stuff like this are just not right. I understand that everyone has their own opinions about people but if they aren’t nice then keep your screaming howler shut!
