An OnlyFans content creator and Kick streamer known as Livy Alex went viral after she read aloud what she describes as an eviction notice citing her work as grounds for terminating her lease.
The roughly 90-second clip, streamed live on Kick, shows Alex in a bikini top holding the document. The notice, portions of which she said she had redacted with a marker, states that she has 7 days to vacate the property due to the landlord’s disagreement with her job choice.
“This eviction notice has been delivered to you because of the following: not agreeing with job choice,” Alex read aloud during the stream. “You have seven days to quit and deliver possession of the property.”
Alex, who said she pays $3,700 per month for a two-story unit with a garage in New York, expressed disbelief and frustration during the broadcast.
“Where the f*** am I going in New York?” she said on stream. “I love this place. It’s two floors. I have a garage, a little outside space.”
Alex attributed the eviction to followers who she said sent a video of her to her landlord or property management company after finding her address through a Zillow listing.
“Y’all found the f***ing Zillow listing, found the management company, and this is why I’m getting f***ing evicted,” she said.
Some expressed sympathy for Alex, while others questioned whether her job choice constitutes legal grounds for eviction.
“That’s not enough reason to evict someone,” one commenter wrote.
Another wrote, “Streaming isn’t a job and OnlyFans isn’t a job. Change my mind.”
A third commenter, who described himself as opposed to the nature of Alex’s work, nonetheless said the landlord’s action was unwarranted: “That wasn’t called for by the landlord.”
