Ava Max Reveals She Sustained An Eye Injury After Getting Slapped By A Hater On Stage

After slapping the pop star and injuring her, an Ava Max hater disguised as a fan was escorted off stage by security.

The 29-year-old is seen dancing on stage during one of her LA performances in the video. In the middle of the singer’s performance, a man stormed the stage and slapped her hard. Max continued to sing like a true performer, and security eventually dragged him away.

She later confirmed the incident on Twitter, writing: “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though!!”

The assault on Ava comes just days after another Albanian artist, Bebe Rexha, was assaulted on stage after an audience member threw a phone at her head during a performance in New York City. She collapsed to the floor and was rushed off stage. The Albanian artist required stitches and now has a black eye as a result of the phone’s impact.

Nicolas Malvagna, the man who threw the phone, was arrested and now faces “two counts of assault, one count of aggravated harassment, one count of attempted assault, and one count of harassment.” On July 31st, he is scheduled to appear in court.
