YG Entertainment’s fast-rising female K-POP sensation BABYMONSTER has officially announced its highly anticipated U.S. debut. The group will embark on its first-ever world tour, BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR, with headline performances scheduled for early next year.
The live U.S. shows are presented by Live Nation and include a stop at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on Friday, February 28th, as well as playing the iconic Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, March 2nd.
The tour supports the release of BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album, DRIP, which dropped on November 1, 2024. The album features nine dynamic tracks, including the title track “DRIP,” composed by legendary rapper and singer-songwriter G-Dragon, a remix of their record-breaking pre-debut single “BATTER UP,” and their fan-favorite anthem “FOREVER.
“Dr.iip” follows on from their hot-leading EP “BABYMONS7ER” of April, which moved 400,000 copies in the first week. The monster EP included smash hits single “BATTER UP”, “SHEESH,” and “LIKE THAT.” Global superstar Charlie Puth contributed.
The U.S. debut announcement follows BABYMONSTER’s recently revealed Seoul tour dates at KSPO DOME. To kick off their global tour, they’ll perform on Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26.
Tickets for the U.S. shows will go on sale on Wednesday, December 18, at 3 PM local time via Live Nation.
