Euphoria’s Barbie Ferreira was not the only one who had issues with the season’s production, The Daily Beast reports.
Ferreira reportedly walked off set multiple times due to the gruesome long workdays that could stretch from 15 to 17 hours as Sam Levinson rarely came to set with a shot list during production for ‘Euphoria’ season 2.
The actress who portrays Kat in the HBO hit series spoke with Sam Levinson about the direction that her character was headed and explained to him why she doesn’t like her character’s storylines. The two didn’t see eye to eye about Kat’s character development. This led to Levinson cutting her scenes for season 2.
Fans were wondering why Barbie Ferreira character Kat had very little screen time this season. Kat went from being one of their most prominent characters in season 1 to pretty much being in the shadows in season 2. This explains why Ferreira didn’t attend the premiere of Euphoria season 2 with the rest of her castmates. It’s possible she won’t return for season 3 because of creative differences.
