Let the numbers speak for themselves because Beyoncé just did what no Black artist has ever done before, and what only one other woman in music has even dared to dream of.

According to Touring Data, Beyoncé’s lifetime touring revenue has now officially surpassed a jaw-dropping $2 billionacross 14 million tickets sold since 2004. With this seismic milestone, she becomes only the second woman in historyafter Taylor Swift to cross the $2 billion threshold. She is also the first Black artist in music history to achieve it. Say her name.

The Billion-Dollar Club: Beyoncé Joins, Then Dominates

With more than $1 billion grossed in the United States alone, Beyoncé joins Taylor Swift as the only women ever to achieve this feat in a single country. But Beyoncé didn’t just walk into history. She moonwalked, high-kicked, and heel-dropped her way into it.

Her “Cowboy Carter” stadium tour, a visual and sonic odyssey of Black country, rock, and unapologetic American reclamation, now holds the title for the highest average revenue per show of any female tour in U.S. history: an eye-watering $13,317,431 per night, based on reported box office data.

And it wasn’t cheap to see the Queen reign live. With an average ticket price of $277.01, Cowboy Carter also stands as the most expensive full-stadium tour by a female artist in American history. The people paid and paid well for a seat at her rodeo.

The Stats That Crown Her Queen

The receipts are not only abundant. They’re record-breaking. Let’s break it down.

“Cowboy Carter” Tour – At a Glance:

  • Revenue: $407.6 million (100% of shows reported)
  • Tickets Sold: 1,596,165
  • Number of Shows: 32
  • Average Attendance: 49,880
  • Average Gross per Show: $12.7 million
  • Average Ticket Price: $255.36

Not only does Cowboy Carter stand shoulder to shoulder with Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance World Tour, but together they secure her the crown for being the first woman in history to have:

  • Two U.S. tours grossing over $300 million (“Renaissance” and “Cowboy Carter”)
  • Two tours grossing over $400 million worldwide
  • Multiple tours averaging over $10 million per show

The Five Fortresses: Stadiums Beyoncé Has Turned into ATMs

Beyoncé has turned iconic venues into billion-dollar playgrounds. She now holds the record for the most stadiums grossing over $100 million each in ticket sales, five total, which is more than any artist in music history.

Top Stadium Earnings by Beyoncé:

  • MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, $134.9M
  • Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, $109.3M
  • Soldier Field, Chicago, $102.0M
  • SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, $101.2M
  • Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, $100.6M

Stadium-Sized Impact: Her Top Grossing Shows

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter has also planted itself deep within the all-time highest-grossing shows list, elbowing her way in alongside the likes of George Strait, Bad Bunny, and The Rolling Stones.

Highest Grossing Beyoncé Shows:

  • $17.746M – NRG Stadium, Houston – June 28 and 29, 2025 (2 nights, tied)

Only a few acts like George Strait and The Rolling Stones appear higher on the single-show revenue rankings and Beyoncé’s doing it in platform heels and with cultural intent.
