A black content creator who specializes in discussing ADHD accused a white content creator of plagiarizing one of her videos, which was widely discussed on social media.
Brianne Saturdays created a comparison video of the videos she and another ADHD-related creator, Laurie Faulkner, had made. In the comparison videos, it was evident that the wording, sentence structure, and even speaking style were highly similar.

Many people who watched the comparison videos argued that the second video was obviously created using the first one as inspiration rather than being independently created. This discussion became extremely popular and brought up the issue of crediting creators.
Some commenters pointed out that this case is part of the wider problem of Black content creators getting less visibility than white creators when creating similar educational content.
Other people also discussed the question of crediting, suggesting that creators have to credit those creators who influenced their content, especially when the video is based on someone else’s script.
