Metropolitan Police officer pleads not guilty of cheating luxury stores and abusing computer systems for personal benefit.

Ms. Sunna Harrison-Aziz, aged 28, made a plea of not guilty on Tuesday before Southwark Crown Court for charges involving five counts of corruption/improper use of police powers, four counts of fraud by false representation, and one count of perverting the course of justice.

According to the prosecution, Harrison-Aziz pretended not to have received luxurious goods such as a Dior bikini costing $700, an Apple MacBook worth $2,599, a Cartier wedding ring valued at $1,920, and a Moncler jacket priced at $840, so that she could return the money but retain the items in question.

It is alleged that Harrison-Aziz abused the confidential police system for nine months, starting from January 2022 through September 2022, by creating false receipts and conducting unauthorized searches in the system.

Ms. Edgar Morais, 30, and Ms. Eugene Nunoo, 30, pleaded not guilty to one count each of encouraging Harrison-Aziz to abuse her police powers. Mr. Morais hails from Croydon, and Ms. Nunoo comes from Eastbourne.

After appearing in court, Harrison-Aziz was released on unconditional bail. The trial will commence in March 2028.
