Following the resounding success of two sold-out shows at the prestigious UBS Arena in Long Island, New York, Buju Banton, the legendary Grammy award-winning reggae artist, proudly announces his inaugural Arena Tour, “The Overcomer.”

Buju Banton drew a record-breaking crowd of over 36,000 fans to his electrifying 90-minute performance with the Shiloh Band this weekend. This outpouring of support solidifies his place as the first reggae artist to sell out a concert in just two days.

‘The Overcomer’ tour also welcomes the highly acclaimed artist Fridayy. A Haitian American singer, songwriter, and record producer, Fridayy has garnered significant industry attention with hit songs like ‘When It Comes To You,’ ‘Stand By Me,’ and ‘Without You.’ He also played a key role in DJ Khaled’s triple Grammy-nominated track ‘God Did,’ featuring Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, and John Legend.”

Buju Banton’s manager, Joesph Budafuco, couldn’t hide his excitement about Buju’s achievements and his historic first arena tour. Budafuco stressed the importance of Buju’s return to U.S. touring after a 15-year break, underlining the huge anticipation and buzz surrounding this landmark event.

Banton continues to dominate the music scene as he hits several arenas throughout the United States. This summer’s hottest reggae concert ticket is produced by the black-owned AG Touring in association with Gargamel Music, XO Management, Mammoth, and Eventim. The historical run kicks off on August 23rd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at the Amerant Bank Arena, with stops across the United States, including Tampa, Washington D.C., Boston, Atlanta, Houston, Inglewood, and finally, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
