Cardi B and Candace Owens go back and forth on Twitter after Owens went on Fox News to shred her “WAP” performance at the Grammys with Megan Thee Stallion.
Owens says WAP being performed at the Grammy’s signifies the “corrosion” and “end of an empire”.
Cardi B responded by thanking Owens for talking about it on Fox News because her numbers went up.
Owens responds: “I take issue with you being used to encourage young women to strip themselves of dignity.”
Cardi B responds to Candace Owens by saying she was inspired by Former First Lady Melania Trump to make WAP. She also posted two nude photos of Melania Trump.
Owens defends Melania after telling Cardi B that Melania Trump has evolved from her nude model shots from three decades.
Cardi B responds sarcastically saying Melania Trump is her idol. She also questions Owens for her double standard.
Owens says: “There’s no person in America who can look you in the face and honestly say they wish they’re daughters turned out like you.”
Cardi B responds: “After all the fighting for equality and freedom they should be submissive to a white a man after years of abuse & rape making them a sandwich while pregnant cause in your words “ that’s what a woman should do”? Interesting”
Owens responds: “If you think making your husband a sandwich is a sin, but popping your vagina into another woman’s vagina in front of the world is power— you are a lost soul.”
Cardi B responds: “It’s not a sin but claiming “That’s what a woman supposed to do set us women Black or white to hundreds of years back. You have your own show and voice because women fought for years for us to be free to do what we please NOT to be in a kitchen being submissive to a man.”
