Carter Bryant’s mother, Sabrina Torres, has become an internet sensation after a fan-made video of Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals went viral.
A video recorded on May 28 at the Spurs’ arena features Torres coming down the stadium stairs while the game is being played. The video received thousands of likes and numerous “Mama Carter” memes.
There were many opinions about Torres online. One of the comments was: “I can’t believe they actually made her make a 360.” Another one was a joke that said, “This is why he was playing in the playoffs.”
There were also some negative opinions: “You’re just too horny for girls. Every time a female appears, your minds are filled with nonsense, chill.”
Bryant, a 20-year-old player, is the No. 14 pick from Arizona. As a rookie, Bryant put up great defense against OKC’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, which contributed to San Antonio’s victory. They won the Western Conference championship and qualified for the NBA Finals against the New York Knicks, which starts on June 3.
Sabrina Torres is a sign language interpreter, brought up in a deaf community. Her father is also famous for being a great basketball player.
