Penny Lane, a British supermodel, walked the catwalk confidently during the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week in 2026. Her confidence became viral online, with people praising her poise and elegance.
She was 31 years old when she won the 2023 SI Swimsuit Model Search and was named Rookie of the Year in 2024, attracting attention for her swimsuit strut, sparking discussions about modeling looks.
The most common sentiment was positive, with many people calling it a celebration of natural beauty. The comments were sometimes presented from a cultural angle, mentioning recent modeling trends.
One such commenter stated, “Is it true that Sports Illustrated is allowing beautiful women again? They are real!”
Meanwhile, someone else commented, “Those busty blondes are back. Well, the truth is, they never left.”
However, some comments were disrespectful; people used political and vulgar language, reflecting a common theme in online discussions about modeling looks.
She is a holistic health coach and model, having participated in multiple SI swimsuit photo shoots across Europe and Africa following her victory.
