Catalina White is determined to keep her eyes on the prize as her divorce from Chris “CT” Tamburello, star of the reality TV shows, makes its way through the courts.
White filed for divorce on January 9, 2026, just over a year after the couple secretly married. In an interview with Where Is The Buzz, White declined to comment on the reasons for her decision.
“I genuinely wish Chris nothing but the best,” White said. “Out of respect for the legal process and for everyone involved, I’m not going to discuss the details of our relationship or the divorce.”
She stressed that she has already built her own career that allows her to sustain herself.
“What I will say is that I’m grateful to have built my own career and to be able to support myself independently,” White said. “I’ve worked incredibly hard for what I have, and I’m proud of that. This has never been about money for me. My focus is simply on moving forward, continuing to build my business, being there for my family, and embracing the next chapter of my life with positivity.”
Her divorce filing occurred in the middle of what turned out to be an incredible year for the creator. White received a nomination for social media influencer of the year at the 2026 XMA Creator Awards despite the ongoing legal troubles.
“I was honestly in complete shock to be nominated,” she said. “There were so many huge influencers on that list; it meant so much to me to get that nomination. It definitely reminded me that there were great things ahead, even in the middle of a storm.”
The event took place in Miami in May. Although White did not win, she promised to return next year.
“I’ll be back next year,” she said. “I am really focused on acting and doing more sketch comedy. I’m doing a small role for Vet TV, hosting an adrenaline junkie show for OFTV, and working on a dating show.”
Her comedy content has helped White to raise her Instagram followers to 800,000 this year as she has moved away from modeling and OnlyFans posts that once dominated her page. Her Foxy News reporter persona is one of her most recognizable characters.
“Sketch comedy has always been my bread and butter,” she said. “My brother and I have been doing skits since we’re kids. Now, I’m just lucky enough to be in a position to work with other creators and create content for a living. I also saw that there wasn’t a lot of women in my space doing comedy sketches, so once it started going viral I doubled down.”
Earlier, Jake Hager, the former husband of White and the father of her two children, publicly declared their divorce as the biggest loss of his life and stated that it caused the sale of their family home. White brushed off the statements with a laugh.
“Oh, he’s just saying that so he’ll stay on my good side. Just kidding,” she said. “Jake and I started off as friends and have been able to continue to be great friends. We are very lucky to co-parent as well as we do. I mean, the guy lives down the street from me.”
Asked to describe her current status in July 2026 compared with a year ago, White focused on the future. “I’m in a really exciting chapter,” she commented.
“I’m in a really exciting chapter,” she said. “I’ve been fortunate to have so many new opportunities come my way, and I’m focused on saying yes to experiences that push me outside my comfort zone. My goal is to create a life that’s anything but ordinary, a life uncommon. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful to be building it on my own terms.”
