We recently spoke to CBS’s The Neighborhood Star Tichinia Arnold. Tichina’s career spans decades as she started acting at the age of 11 and hasn’t missed a beat since.
Her A fan favorite character “Pam” from the 90’s sitcom Martin, Tichina explains how she had no idea the show would be as successful as it was and has became. Tichina has and continues to have sitcom success with shows from Everybody Hates Chris, One On One, Survivors Remorse and her latest CBS hit show “The Neighborhood”
“The Neighborhood” stars Cedric The Entertainer as Arnold’s Husband along with Beth Beyers and Max Greenfield as their neighbors. The CBS comedy tackles important and timely issues from health, race, BLM, and more. Tichina talked about why it is important to highlight these timely issues through comedy. Aside from the show been great on screen, the cast has a great relationship off screen and Tichina credits that to the show’s success.
Tichina is booked and busy and is set to launch a new partnership with her longtime BFF Tisha Campbell. Arnold, says the partnership is an extension of what they did on Martin and what they have done for years both on and off screen.
When asked what is the secret to having a successful show, Tichina said “working hard and knowing its not about you”.
