Claire Rosinkranz released the deluxe version of her debut EP, “My Lover,” via Atlantic Records in collaboration with 10K on Friday, with five additional songs.
“The Rocket,” “Water The Flowers,” and “Just A Man” are among the new additions, with the latest additions being “Paper Arms” and “Allergic.”
“Allergic” is the track where Claire Rosinkranz is most energetic, as she describes how her relationship makes her move despite knowing it is toxic. The EP was produced by Oliver Frid, who has worked with other big names like Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, and Little Mix, and also Claire’s long-term collaborator, Ragnar Rosinkranz, the album’s executive producer.
According to Rosinkranz, the concept behind this track came up while she was hanging out with her friend one night.
She says, “My best friend and I were hanging out at mine and started chatting about the back-and-forth nature of a relationship I was in. She was the only person who really knew the ins and outs of the situation, so we decided to effortlessly and mischievously write about my chaotic feelings.”
This follows her performance at Lollapalooza, where the magazine described her music as “a bright and pop-y sonic wonderland” in the middle of a rain shower. Rosinkranz is scheduled to headline the Austin City Limits Music Festival early next month.
