Coming to America will hit theaters on Aug. 7, 2020, Paramount announced Monday.
We will see will see Eddie Murphy return in the role of Prince Akeem.
Black-ish creator Kenya Barris penned the most recent draft of the sequel, which would see Akeem learning about a long-lost son and returning to America to meet his unlikely heir to the throne of Zamunda.
Murphy is producing alongside Kevin Misher, while Barris is exec producing.
