David Ortiz recovering from surgery after being shot

The former Red Sox star sustained a gunshot wound during an incident in the Dominican Republic. In a statement, the Red Sox said he is recovering after undergoing surgery.

David Ortiz was reportedly shot in the leg but if you look at the surveillance video it looks like he was shot in the back.

Red Sox have offered a private plane to fly David Ortiz to the United States for any additional treatment, if necessary.
