Barbed wire barriers are going up in Minneapolis ahead of the trial for Derek Chauvin, the cop who murdered George Floyd.

Chauvin faces 40 years for 2nd-degree murder. The trial begins exactly one week from today.

The city is also deploying 3,000+ police and National Guard troops.
