Romanian police have seized ten properties and fifteen luxury cars owned by misogynist Andrew Tate and his brother, who got charged with rape and human trafficking.

Prosecutors say the brothers lured women to the homes and forced them into pornography with violence and intimidation.

VICE World News has obtained WhatsApp messages and voice notes sent by Andrew Tate to a woman who accused him of a 2013 rape. She said police told her they believed her account, but authorities declined to prosecute.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan went to the Bucherest Court yesterday to appeal the 30-day detention for alleged rape and human trafficking, which got denied.
