On Aug. 23, Jacob Blake was shot in the back several times by Kenosha police. The following days were then full of protests and unrest in Kenosha.

17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse traveled across state lines with firearms to attend the Kenosha protest. Rittenhouse was threatening protestors to go back inside their house because the city set a curfew after the Jacob Blake shooting. Rittenhouse eventually ended up shooting and killing to unarmed men. Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber were two individuals that lost their life by this domestic terrorist. Rittenhouse also used the rifle to shoot another man, Gaige Grosskreutz, in the arm. This was all caught on video.

19-year-old Dominick Black was charged with supplying the gun that Kyle Rittenhouse used to kill two people during a police brutality protest. Black has been charged with two felony counts of supplying a dangerous weapon to a minor. He gave Kyle Rittenhouse a rifle that he later used to shoot two protestors in Kenosha.

According to the criminal complaint, on May 1, Black purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 rifle from the Ladysmith Ace Home Center in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Black obtained the money to buy the rifle for Kyle Rittenhouse to use. Rittenhouse, 17 at the time of the purchase, was not legally able to purchase the rifle for himself. Aware of this fact, Black purchased the weapon. Since Rittenhouse was a minor and did not have an Illinois firearm owner ID card, he and Black agreed that the rifle would be stored at the residence of Black’s stepfather, located in Kenosha.

According to the complaint, Rittenhouse admitted to killing both individuals to Black that evening and also later confessed to the killings to the Antioch Police Department.

Rittenhouse faces first-degree intentional homicide and attempted intentional homicide charges in Wisconsin in connection to the shootings. His bail is set at $2 million. Black also faces up to 25 years if he’s convicted of his two felony charges.
