Emma Watson is currently receiving backlash for being a kind and compassionate human being. A clip from her British Vogue interview from two years ago has resurfaced online.
In the clip, Watson shows her support for transgender people after she was asked by interviewer (who’s a transwoman) if she feels comfortable using the same bathroom as her. Watson responded by saying “Oh my God of course!” The interviewer followed up her question by asking Emma “What would you say to those people who would have an issue sharing a bathroom with her?” Watson responded by saying “that’s another human being” and continues on by showing compassion for the interviewer and all transgender.
This caused some people on social media to turn on Emma Watson for her comments. Many people started questioning her intelligence and called her a bad actor. Check out the responses down below.
