Hulu has just launched the official trailer for “Furious,” an upcoming drama series developed by Elizabeth Meriwether, who also serves as its executive producer.
The trailer shows the first glimpse of FBI agent Alice Black, portrayed by Emmy Rossum, hunting down the smartest serial killer who happens to be a woman. The journey towards justice brings the two into each other’s lives, and the lines between right and wrong blur.
The first three episodes of “Furious” will premiere on Hulu and the Hulu on Disney+ bundle for U.S. viewers and on Disney+ globally. New episodes will be released every Monday, ending on August 31 with the season finale.
Emmy Rossum is starring alongside Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, and Jake Lacy.
Elizabeth Meriwether served as a creator, writer, and executive producer of the series. Rossum serves as an executive producer for Composition 8 alongside Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead, and Sam Hoffman. Brian Kirk is the executive producer and has also directed the first two episodes.
The drama series is a production of 20th Television and Searchlight Television.
