The former manager at Arby’s is facing charges of felony poisoning in an attempt to injure the client who claimed to have contracted herpes due to the contaminated meal he had taken.
Amanda Hendricks faces charges following an investigation into the matter.
This happened after the customer, Jennica Church, complained about the contamination of his food. Further, the investigators received information from one of the restaurant employees indicating that a worker had deliberately spat in a client’s meal.
The investigators reviewed surveillance videos from the premises and interviewed some employees. In the affidavit, it has been revealed that the surveillance video showed Hendricks handling the sandwich’s meat and lowering her head toward it, with saliva falling onto it.
A warrant of arrest was issued against Hendricks, who was charged with felony poisoning.
Jennica Church sued Amanda Hendricks and Arby’s, claiming she contracted herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1).
Both cases are still pending.
